National Excellence Award 2024 Winners Revealed by MFAA
The Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has unveiled the winners of the 2024 National Excellence Awards. This honour is bestowed upon the industry’s top performers, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication within the industry.
The award ceremony took place at Crown Palladium in Melbourne and was attended by more than 550 MFAA members and industry partners. The event recognised the best from 137 finalists across 26 award categories.
MFAA CEO, Anja Pannek, stated that the MFAA Excellence Awards serve to highlight the superior talent and commitment within the industry, with this year’s program receiving an impressive range of nominations from members nationwide. “Our winners embody the best industry practices and standards – they continue to propel our profession forward. We congratulate all finalists and winners for their remarkable achievements,” Pannek said.
Among the winners was Isabella Constantinou from Simplicity Loans & Advisory, who won both the Young Professional Award and the Commercial & Equipment Finance Broker Award. Other notable winners included Peter Ha from Mortgage Pros, who won the Newcomer Award, and Ashleigh Pakis from Panache Financial, who won the Regional Finance Broker Award. Chris Wilson from Sunshine Coast Financial Solutions also won the prestigious Residential Finance Broker Award.
The event also saw veteran Northern Territory broker Tony Schelling being inducted as a Life Member of the Association. “Tony has a long and distinguished history of serving the MFAA and the industry, and we are delighted to be able to recognise him with Life Membership of the Association,” Pannek added.
The MFAA expressed its gratitude to the partners of the MFAA Excellence Awards for their support, including Australian Broker, MPA, AAMC Training Group, ALI Group, ANZ, Bankwest, Bendigo Bank Broker, BOQ Group, Commonwealth Bank, Connective, Helia, Kaplan Professional, La Trobe Financial, Macquarie Bank, Mortgage Choice, National Australia Bank, Pepper Money, Prospa, QBE, Resimac and Teachers Mutual Bank Limited, and The Adviser.
The National Excellence Awards are the culmination of five MFAA State Excellence Awards ceremonies held across the country earlier in the year.
