The Institute of Strategic Management delivers several programs that encompass a Certificate IV in Financial Services, a Diploma in Financial Services, a Diploma of Financial Services Bridging Program and a Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) certification.

In a grand night of celebration, commercial and asset finance brokers were honoured when the Commercial & Asset Finance Brokers Association of Australia (CAFBA) held its 2024 National Broker and Financier Awards at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton in Melbourne on the 12th of September.

The ceremony saw awards given out in 23 distinct categories. These included commercial finance brokers, asset finance brokers, lenders, Business Development Managers (BDMs), aggregators and the esteemed Women in Finance Excellence Award. The latter was proudly conferred upon Sammi Haines of Coastal Finance.

CAFBA’s President, David Bushby, noted that the organisation has had a long-standing tradition of recognising excellence among its broker members. However, he added that the awards ceremony itself has only been in existence for about five to six years. Despite its relatively short history, the event has seen exponential growth.

Reflecting on its humble beginnings, Bushby commented, “Initially, the awards ceremony was a small affair with about 100 attendees. However, just over a week ago, we witnessed a spectacular event in a magnificent setting with approximately 400 attendees – a fully subscribed occasion.”
